Registration is now open for the our U13 program.

The clinic on Sunday June 19th has been canceled and the program will start Sunday, June 26th at Endicott College from 6-7:30.

Gulls rally to beat HG 7-6

The Junior Gulls bested Homegrown in one of the most competitive championships in league history. The top two seeded teams matched up against each other on Thursday at Bishop Fenwick high school with each team searching for their first league championship. Homegrown got off to a quick start with a goal within the first minute by Nate Hitchcock and opened up a 4-1 lead early on in the first half before the Gulls were able to battle back and even the score at 4-4 going into halftime. The second half started off similar to the first with Homegrown scoring two early goals and looked to be in control after Chris Crupi’s 3rd goal of the game which made the score 6-4 with just under 10 minutes to go in the game. The Gulls were in desperate need of an offensive spark and Peter Leighton provided exactly what they needed. Leighton put on an offensive showcase in the last seven minutes of the game, scoring 3 unanswered goals and gave his team a 7-6 lead with less than two minutes left. Homegrown’s last second shot was denied by Evan Mills as the Gulls flocked the field to celebrate their first league championship.
