q Who are the camp trainers? What do they do?
answer There is an Athletic Trainer Staff Member on the field at all times and available off the field on a need be basis. The trainer will provide any necessary and appropriate treatment as he or she sees fit. In the case of an emergency, it is an Elite Lacrosse Camp policy to call 911.

q Is water provided on the field during each session?
answer Water is available on the field at all times. Campers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles to the field and keep bottled water and sports drinks in their rooms.

q Where do overnight campers reside?
answer All campers, staff, and directors will reside in the dormitories at the overnight camps. Most of the dorms are not air-conditioned, fans are allowed. Endicott Hall Dorm is close to the ocean so there is a nice breeze at night.

q How many overnight campers per room?
answer Most of our overnight camps have dorm rooms for two campers. However, there are a few triples available.

q What are the ages of the campers and how are they divided?
answer Elite Lacrosse Camp is for campers ages 7-18. The camp is split up into 3 divisions based on age.

q Is there 24 hour supervision?
answer Our EliteLacrosse Camp Staff is on duty 24 hours a day, on the fields, in the dormitories, in the dining hall,wherever our campers are present during the overnight camp. In addition, Endicott has a 24-hour campus safety patrol.

q What do campers bring to camp?
answer OVERNIGHT CAMPS:
Lacrosse stick, helmet, mouth guard, sneakers and cleats, protective cup, elbow and shoulder pads, gloves, water bottle, sunscreen,sheets and a pillow case (sleeping bags are fine too), pillow, toiletries, and a towel.

q Is the food good at the overnight camp?
answer YES! The dining hall has an ‘All You Can Eat’ buffets at every meal time to make sure you get re-energized for the next lacrosse session.

q Will there be a camp store?
answer We will have a small camp store with assorted t-shirts, shorts and hats. In addition, vending machines and pizza will be available in the evenings, so you may want to bring some spending money.

q When will I receive confirmation?
answer Upon receipt of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email On our web-site there is a confiraamtion page on what to bring, maps/directions, and any outstanding fees you may still owe.

q When is the balance of registration due?
answer Final payments are due a week prior to camp.

q Is there a registration deadline? Do camps sell out? Is there a waiting list?
answer

We accept applications right up to the start of camp where openings exist. The Elite Lacrosse Camp has filled up the past four summers. We are able to accept names from a waitlist in case of cancellation.

q Is the Elite Lacrosse Camp better for a specific position?
answer No, not at all. Each summer we have positional directors and coaches for each position on the field. All of these directors and coaches have years of experience at the highest levels and are tremendous teachers of the game. You’ll learn a ton, no matter if you’re a Goalie, Defenseman, LSM, Midfielder, or Attackman!

q What level of player is the Elite Lacrosse Camp suited for?
answer We have players from the youth level right up to the JV and Varsity levels. Our camp iswidely known for our ability to “teach” and we take great pride in making you a better player, no matter if you’re a beginner or a star on the Varsity.

q What are the check-in and check-out times?
answer Overnight Campers:
Check in on the first day between 9:00pm – 10:00am
Check out on the last day between 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Day Campers:
Check in on the first day at 8:30am and depart at 4:00pm.The next three days arrive at 8:30am and depart at 4:00pm.
Check out on the last day for day campers is 4:00pm

q If I am flying, where should I fly in and out of?
answer Endicott College is located on the North Shore of Boston. Logan International airport is only 20 miles from the Endicott campus. Saint Leo University is located 45 minutes from Tampa Airport.

q What is a typical day like?
answer Overnight / Day Camps:
We have three sessions per day. Early in the week we do a great deal of instructing and then progress towards playing a lot of games later in the week. We also have skills contests, fastest shot contests, laxgolf, and free time. We make sure everyone is having fun!

q What happens if there is bad weather?
answer Elite Lacrosse will train in rain at the discretion of the Camp Director. We will not train in lightning and severe weather including extremely high heat indexes. We will go into the Post Center athletic complex for sessions if severe weather occurs.

q What do campers do after the night session?
answer The fun doesn’t end on the lacrosse field. We have a number of things planned each summer for campers during off-field time. Here are a few things we do:
  • Movies (PG)
  • Game films
  • Pool, foosball, and ping pong
  • Demonstrations of stick stringing, college talk, and question and answer sessions

What are the camp rules?

answer 1) Campers will be charged for any damage to rooms or facilities. There will be pre and post camp inspections of all facilities used by campers. Please bring any damage noticed on check-in to the attention of the staff.

 

2) Any camper discovered away from the dorm/athletic/recreation areas being used by the camp will be sent home immediately.

3) No cleats or ball playing in the dorms

4) Any alcohol or illegal substance will be brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities

  We are all looking forward to a great week of camp. Any serious breach of camp rules will result in an immediate expulsion from camp. We would hope that common sense, civility and respect will rule the day.

q Can parents visit their children and watch field sessions during camps?
answer Parents are invited to visit their campers at any time during a camp session.

Parents are required to check in and out with the Camp Director. Friends of campers are not permitted on campus at any time unless accompanied by a camper’s parents. Campers are permitted to dine off campus with parents upon their request. The last morning of our overnight camp we play games, which is a great opportunity for parents to watch their child display the new skills and techniques learned throughout the week. Games usually start at 9:00am on the last day of the overnight camp.

q What happens if my son needs to cancel?
Cancellations
answer If you have to cancel, for any reason, we will issue you a camp credit for all camp fees paid, valid through the following camp summer. Your camp credit is transferable to a family member and may be used for any camp session.

Campers who leave camp during their session, will receive a pro-rated camp credit, valid through the following summer. Campers who do not check-in will lose all fees paid.
